The Foundations is committed to raising public awareness about mental illness and the challenges faced by those affected by it. Through Foundation sponsored lectureships at universities in Los Angeles, Cleveland and Atlanta, we will expand the dialogue to include meaningful discussions on how best to utilize the transformative power of the arts to improve the condition of the mentally challenged.

The Nathaniel Anthony Ayers Foundation serves as a voice for people affected by mental illness. Through our website, we collect, document and share the experiences and journeys of individuals and families impacted by mental illness.

The foundation also advocates on behalf of public policy initiatives that ensure parity in health care coverage for the mental ill; increase funding for national issues; improve services in local communities through county funding from the state; and ensure due process for social service.
