Thank YOU to all our Supporters
I am truly grateful to all who have made donations and shared your stories. Nathaniel is a better man today because of all the love he has received and seen for the past four years, especially in 2009. If you have a mental illness, don’t give up; reach out for help. If you are the caretaker for someone with a mental illness, don’t give up. I know it is a huge challenge. Please remember to take care of yourself because you have to be well to share. If you are a student and begin to hear voices, tell a mental health professional. If you don’t know who to contact, start with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) at http://www.nami.org; they will be able to direct you to help in your area. Please trust that you are not alone. Let’s work together to help all “Hear the Music” of the mentally ill and “STOP STiGMA!” It is a big job but if we band together, without judgment, we can get it done. Every person on this earth has a purpose, yet many times there are distractions. We must support each other.
Also, I must say that I am so proud of how people all over the world pulled together to help the people of Haiti. But I couldn’t help but wonder about the mental health of the people there. First, I am concerned about those already ill and how this disaster may cause deeper problems. Please keep Haiti in your prayers, and give what you can to help. I know you care and I thank you; Nathaniel thanks you. God bless you all and keep smiling.
