Jennifer Ayers-Moore Receives Award at Bridging the Gaps’ Symposium

Jennifer Ayers-Moore was the keynote speaker and recipient of Bridging the Gaps’ (BTG) 2009 award at its fall Symposium at Drexel University in Philadelphia. BTG is jointly administered by seven academic health centers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Symposium was the culmination of a program for students, interested in pursuing careers as healthcare professionals. The students presented their projects in poster format and facilitated workshops on topics they developed based on the public health problems they dealt with during the program. 
Deeply moved by the event, Ayers-Moore asserted, “My experience with the 2009 Bridging the Gaps annual symposium will always have a place in my heart … I was so impressed with all the Poster Displays because along with the displays were serious students who obviously gained valuable knowledge in the seven–week program that without a doubt left a ‘forever imprint’.”
