Local Churches Screen “The Soloist”
With effective Homeless Ministries, First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta and its partner church, Hillside Presbyterian in Decatur, screened “The Soloist” in November. Jennifer Ayers-Moore participated in the event, sharing her family’s experiences dealing with Nathaniel’s mental illness and recounting how mental illness contributed to his homelessness. Ayers-Moore emphasized the importance of working with organizations that provide residential housing for the homeless and encouraged the churches to continue their commitment to STOP STIGMA!

NAAF Founder Participates in Janssen’s Screening of “The Soloist”
Janssen, a pharmaceutical company exclusively and passionately dedicated to mental health, held a screening of “The Soloist” for employees who played a role in the development of its newest drug in the treatment of schizophrenia. Jennifer Ayers-Moore was invited to speak about her personal experience dealing with a mentally ill sibling.
